WONDER FUL NAWAKA 2022
General information
On Monday 8th of August to Wednesday 17th August 2022 Sea Scouts between the ages of 11 and 18 are invited at Nawaka 2022. Groups from The Netherlands and other countries will gather at Scouting Landgoed Zeewolde in The Netherlands. Nawaka is full of big, exciting and cheerful activities near, on and in the water. A time to never forget!
Nawaka is the event for sea scouts in the Netherlands that is organized every 4 years. The camp is known for its adventurous activities with a nautical tint with an amazing scouting vibe. During Nawaka there are enough opportunities for adventure with your friends and to make new ones.
- Monday 8th of August to Wednesday 17th August 2022
- Scouting Landgoed Zeewolde, 40km east of Amsterdam
- Scouts aged around 7 to 17 years of age
- Fee: € 309,- (after December 12, 2021: € 329,-)
Your stay at Nawaka 2022
For each group, a piece of terrain is reserved on one of the subcamps. Each subcamp is a ‘neighborhood’ on the camp site of Nawaka. Complete with facilities, a subcampstaff and of course very lovely neighbors. Your group can set up tents on the area reserved for your group. A lot of things happen at your camp site. It is of course used for sleeping, but also for relaxing and cooking. The food is provided for by the organization of Nawaka.

Activities at Nawaka 2022
Nawaka is not only a fantastic event because of the large number of participants and scouting feel. The activities in which the participating groups can participate make the camp an unforgettable experience. We will tell you exactly what these activities are at a later time. However, you can already prepare yourself for fun on the water with sailing competitions, rowing- and sculling competitions, as well as sea survival. Your subcampstaff will also organize many awesome activities. And when your sea legs are tired just hop on to the central market for workshops, the ScoutShop or have a drink and a snack at one of the food carts. Don’t forget to say ‘’Ahoy!’’ to your favorite International coordinators when you’re near the International activities tent.
